Originally founded in 1947, Icon can offer the benefits of over 50 years expertise in the field of signage and branding.

At our headquarters in the south east of England we employ approaching 70 full time staff, combining dedicated client account management with skilled production and installation operatives. In addition, through our work on major national and international projects, we have developed a European network of management and labour giving us access to some 200 experienced personnel across the continent.

Our in-house resources include:

Supplementing this, we are able to outsource a wide variety of products and services through reliable and reputable trade suppliers, enabling us to provide complete project management solutions to our clients' requirements for design, print, permanent and temporary signage.

Quality Assurance

We operate an internally monitored quality assurance which has served us through the numerous global events we have serviced. We have a quality assurance programme that lays down a foundation for the processes and control procedures that we adopt during everyday operations.

Our current procedures for systems of quality are reviewed at regular management meetings throughout the year and are documented and revised accordingly.

ISO 9001:2000

We have achieved and are certified to the ISO 9001: 2000 standard and operate all our procedures to the recognised standard of quality, for which we are rigorously audited by an independent auditor on an annual basis.

We have a computerised bespoke programme to cover all areas from estimating, art working, production, and delivery. This has a built in quality assurance of goods produced and a logistics department to cover delivery of contracts which are checked on a regular basis and any non-conformity can be addressed immediately.

All of our data, documents and records are stored electronically and password protected on a secure server and backed up on a daily basis and stored in line with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not pass on, sell or distribute any data that we may hold on a client or customer.

Environment

Our approach to the environment is very serious and stronger than ever as we remain committed to sustain and maintain long term goals in reducing, recycling and reusing of materials and energy.

ISO 14001

We have successfully achieved the internationally recognised standard of ISO 14001 status to further enhance our commitment to the environment and providing us with a useful management system to control, monitor and manage all aspects of our activities and products.
