
Icon were tasked by designers with a re-brand for the Kent Science Park by Sittingbourne Research Centre the brief to introduce clear way finding signs for vehicles and pedestrians.
The first stage was to complete a full signage audit and then to identify the preferred sign positions. Mock ups were then produced to ensure that the letter size and font used was the most effective available and fitted in with the park's overall feel.
Items included `you are here' maps for identifying visitor car parks and monolith-style way finding signs, effective for both car drivers and pedestrians.
The next step is to re-brand and install new signage to the building interiors throughout the park.
