LONDON 2012

As the `Official Brand Dressing Agency' for the successful London 2012 Olympic Bid, Icon Look was involved with the design and the strategic delivery of periodic city dressing programmes that culminated in a program timed for the IOC Evaluation Commission visit in February and the positive decision in July.

The City dressing communicated the commitment of London as a host city as well as creating a sense among the people of London that something big is being developed. City dressing to support the Bid is perhaps the most important visual communication tool and new boundaries were reached in both design and application.

Key activities of the program included over 3000 street banners across the 5 host boroughs, the M4, and approach roads to proposed 2012 venues. Many building wraps were installed which created spectacular splashes of colour. Media attention on the dressing of the city was a first and Icon Look certainly showcased London as never before.
