Icon were contacted by the Arsenal FC Commercial & Marketing Department with a brief to provide static tier dressing for all three tiers of the new Emirates Stadium. It was imperitive that the branding solution matched the impressive surroundings of this new purpose built stadium.
After consultation with Arsenal FC to find out the exact requirements and results expected - Icon advised on a suitable solution: a flexible, high quality system with stunning panels on all three tiers. Icon were responsible for the surveys, engineering specifications and project management of the production and installation of these innovative systems.
This project included an impressive one mile of tier dressing which was installed over a three week period to allow for home matches to be played.
One of the main benefits to Arsenal is the flexiblity of the system on the lower balcony, which includes UEFA Champions League branding on the reverse of the club sponsor boards. This ensured ease of installation and reduced costs during set up for UEFA Champions League matches. The two top tiers are semi-permanent utilising a standard frame and panel system - with striking results.
