Snickers' involvement with this year's Download festival has been supplemented by Icon Display's branding and signage experience - helping to give the Snickers brand further exposure and presence at the event.

Icon's involvement in Snicker's activities at the Download festival started with the planning stages of the event working closely with Snickers and Sponsorcom on ideas for the branding. As well as this Icon project managed the entire implementation of the Snickers branding at Download.

Using knowledge of the event gained from working on the event for the past three years Icon were able offer more creative branding solutions, such as towers, branded inflatables and a inflatable dome sampling tent. The special novelty inflatables; giant 8 foot skateboards and big inflatable peanuts, both were Snickers branded and launched into the crowd at the event. In addition to the branding Icon designed and produced, a crew was supplied on site for the install and de-rig. Two men remained on site for the actual three days of the festival to provide stand by cover and also provided on site signage production for items such as results boards and giant winners cheques.

The Download Festival is a three-day rock festival that took place at Donington Park in June (10^th - 12^th). Snickers sponsor parts of the event, such as the second stage, a stage for unsigned bands and Snickers also sponsored a Skate Park at the event with kinked skate bowl, the first in the UK.
