Icon Look are proud to be working hard alongside the London 2012 bid team as official Brand Dressing Agency, in advance of the IOC Evaluation committee's visit to London this week.
Many projects have been completed around the Capital to ensure a strong, bright and consistent message is presented throughout the visit and to the world. The centrepiece of Icon's work is a massive building wrap - the second largest in the world - around the Dome. Other items that Icon have designed, produced and installed are the dressing of several major tube and train stations, Canary Wharf, Westminster, Waterloo and Stratford for example, as well as environmental branding including; 2,000 street banners in and around key Olympic boroughs.
In addition to all this, Icon has, in conjunction with key transport stakeholders 'wrapped' DLR, tube and over-ground trains in London 2012 branding - further strengthening the brand message. These can be seen on the over ground, Jubilee line, DLR and around the streets of London.
Icon Look; a new division of Icon Display, has been established to meet the increasing demand and expectation for colourful and well presented sport events. The key aim is to install a sense of excitement and atmosphere at events. For the London 2012 bid this also means showing the IOC how London would look if the Games were to be staged here and the support that the bid has generated through visual communication.
